the tower provides a complete view of seoul from its observatory deck, and is also famous for its love-locks and love-tiles, where couples write their wishes for everlasting love. i've been a couple of times, and each time there's something new to look at- once, on a weekend, there was traditional korean wedding demonstration at the plaza and it was an eye-opening experience.
one can get to n seoul tower via cable car or by bus. however, it takes a very long walk up to the cable car station, so i would recommend taking the specially chartered buses (no 2, 3, or 5) from bus-stops along chungmuro station (there's a stop right outside popeye's, just down the road from daehan theater.
