samcheongdong

unique stalls along samcheongdong
one of the more unique streets in seoul, it is located at slighly obscure area opposite anguk station (exit 6). cross the road over to the "a twosome place" and follow the cobbled paths and stonewalls to find the place. it's a unique mix of modernity and tradition, where alot of cafes and unique shops are housed in traditional korean houses.

some of the must-see shops are:

- the maki shop: which sells very cute postcards, souvenirs and iphone covers.
- the accessory kitchen: which has the very unique concept of showcasing its accessories like food on places and utensils.  price-wise, its also very affordable, and designs are all locally styled, very nice!

then, i also like to sit in one of the many cafes lining the street, because it's fabulous to people-watch that way, especially during autumn/winter and weather's cool. the whole mood is laid-back and relaxed, and you can while one whole afternoon with just a book, alone.

p.s. if you walk further down, there's a samcheongdong park, which is also really beautiful, especially for cherry blossoms in spring.
