literally for everything under the sky, visit namdaemun (
hoehyeon station, exit 5). you can find houseware, stationery, clothes, shoes, blankets, ginseng, souvenirs, anything actually. and better yet, because you can bargain (unfortunately, only in korean) and things are really cheap here. it is also a wholesale distributing ground, where accessories and jewelry can be bought for budding entrepreneurs and blogshop owners.
it's also the best place to view ahjummas at work, shouting loudly, pushing at bargains- while some might find it slightly irritating, i liked being part of the local culture :)
